We have installed this camera and the clarity in the day and even at night has been wonderful! A picture is worth a thousand words! The night time led lights are abundant and offers a pretty respectful total darkness picture. None of the other cameras I have owned had as countless Leds as this a single. We've had seriously hot temps, fog, rain, and even storms and everything is well. It is weatherproof, it is especially excellent in the extended run. This camera is most certainly superior more than all other people I've seen in each cost and good quality. I hugely suggest it.
Camera arrived with focus gears stripped out (bad assembly and QC). I was in a position to rig it so it sorta worked. Colors are especially blue and washed out. Night video is truly quite good. But lens provides a so-so excellent "fishbowl" juttery picture. Sort of like looking thru a peep hole in a door. I serioulsy dobut this is 700 lines resolution. Its sure not "high resolution". The "instruction manual" is a 1 page double sided photocopy. Looks like someone created it on a Ditto machine. This camera is NOT waterproof, just water resistant. There are gaps where water will of course penetrate in a heavy storm. But for $120 I guess you sorta get what you pay for. It will be ok for my back yard. Due to the fact its not Amazon prime it would be a discomfort in the rear to return. So I just won't purchase a different 1 of these. My Brother has ordered merchandise from VideoSecu and warned me...I should certainly have listened.
